Sizzling summer nights, mid-July,
& Living outdoors camping all week long!
We had severe weather, heat warnings, thunderstorms, rain off and on some days…still, camping was a blast!
Here is a snippet of what the weather did to the trails out here!
Lots of rainfall has filled up the creeks out here… like this one, passing through the rocky bridge.
Constantly cooling off in the lake
My sons are driving their ATVs around the big mud pits here, believe it or not!
I call this place Shrek’s Swamp…
Have you ever seen those movies?
Which is your favorite Shrek movie?
Either way, I’m going to get muddy…
My 10-year-old son Maximus took the most extremely muddy possible way of course!
Mommy to the rescue!
I used the General winch to get him unstuck! Easy enough, but just don’t go that way again please 🙂 Fortunately the heat dries these trails up quite quickly!
Beautiful sunset over Ariel’s Grotto…
It didn’t start storming until after 10 o’clock tonight. I love cozy camper stormy weather vibes! I even managed to convince my little boys to watch the Disney movie Pocahontas with me!
