Meet our newest family member, Simba, my Sable Collie. Named after Simba from the Lion King, because obviously he looks like the cute Disney lion cub!

I rescued this good gentle giant from a genuinely nice family, who apparently had too many pets already! It was love at first sight when I saw fluffy 11-week-old Simba. He has such a sweet gentle demeanor; the whole family is thrilled to have him home. That is, everybody besides my little Yochon puppy Pongo…he has some warming up to do still. Pongo’s got big dog energy!

Simba is doing so great on his walks already! We try to go for at least two walks a day. My two little boys ride their bikes alongside us.

Simba loves lounging on his new comfortable ginormous bed!
